Role Overview

TapFire is looking for an experienced Motion Graphics / Video Artist who can create high-impact gameplay marketing videos using Unity 3D. This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll help lead the visual content pipeline, enhance weekly deliverables, and work closely with both art and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working inside Unity, understands in-engine video workflows, and can create or refine 3D assets using Maya/Blender.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-impact gameplay marketing videos and promotional content using Unity 3D

  • Animate characters, props, cameras, and in-engine events using Unity Timeline & Cinemachine

  • Use particle systems, triggers, and basic scripting to enhance visual scenes

  • Capture dynamic in-engine footage for marketing and UA campaigns

  • Integrate and optimize 3D assets into Unity Timelines

  • Create and refine 3D elements using Maya or Blender for video content

  • Collaborate with the art & marketing teams for fast turnaround deliverables

  • Maintain visual consistency, quality, and performance across all video outputs

  • Utilize AI tools where helpful to speed up production workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in gaming, animation, motion graphics, or a related field

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Unity 3D, Timeline, Cinemachine

  • Proficiency in Maya or Blender for 3D asset creation, animation, or adjustments

  • Solid understanding of 3D workflows: animation, lighting, shaders, environment setup

  • Familiarity with VFX and particle systems

  • Experience with video editing & compositing tools:

    • Adobe Premiere Pro

    • After Effects

  • Strong motion design and in-engine animation skills

  • Experience creating mobile gaming video ads

  • Strong portfolio showcasing in-engine video work, motion graphics, or gameplay cinematics

  • Ability to work in fast-paced production cycles and deliver consistent results

  • Relevant education (Design, Animation, Game Art, Media Production) is a plus

  • Nice-to-have: Basic C# scripting for Unity Timeline automation or triggers
