Discord Community Manager

Role Overview: 

We’re looking for a hands-on Discord Community Manager who can run, grow, and optimize our server while keeping the community engaged, safe, and fun. 

Job Responsibilities

• Manage TapFire’s Discord server day-to-day, including channels, categories, and roles setup. 
• Configure and maintain Discord bots for moderation, automation, leveling, rewards, and engagement. 
• Create and implement moderation workflows: rules, warnings, role hierarchy, muting/kicking, and banning protocols. 
• Plan and execute community events, polls, tournaments, and announcements. 
• Gather, analyze, and report community metrics. 
• Collaborate with marketing, game design, and production teams to share community insights and feedback loops 
• Maintain code of conduct & server health, including spam, toxicity, and exploit attempts. 
• Optimize server structure for scalability, ensuring it can handle growth from hundreds to thousands of members. 

Requirements
• Proven experience managing or moderating Discord communities (500+ members preferred). 
• Strong understanding of Discord features, permissions, roles, and bots. 
• Familiarity with automation, leveling systems, and reward mechanics on Discord. 
• Comfortable handling moderation and conflict resolution calmly and fairly. 
• Experience with community analytics tools. 
• Knowledge of gaming culture, especially mobile games. 
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
